An apartment inspired by the values of contemporary planning.
It was made for a collector of art, it was necessary to study of space and light.
There is a predominance of the dark color of the floors and they contrast with the ivory walls used to better highlight the works of art.
It is very bright because there are a large windows that run along the perimetral of the house. Despite this there was the need to study the artificial lighting system and a double curtain to highlight the sculptures and paintings.
The works of art interact constantly with the architecture and create a mutual exchange. The apartment is suitable for works of art and at the same time usable and livable.
The apartment is on two levels, downstairs there is the entrance dominated by the stair coated with dark wood and the wall coated with the same material. It hides the ventilation system and there is an “invisible” door that leads to service rooms.
Upstairs there is a shelf made of “Portoro” marble it is not only a shelf, it also became the element that delimits the dining room by a hallway space, this space devide the living area and sleeping area.
